Founded in 2004, 2019 marks our fifteenth year in operation. Initially ALL3D was based in Galway, on the west coast of Ireland, and we specialised exclusively in architectural visualisation for the construction sector. Our focus was on creating a sense of warmth and place in our imagery and to that end we developed a reputation for extensive finishing work on all our images.

Working with Connacht’s wild, stark landscape provided our team with unparalleled training for complex verified photo-montage work and a unique aesthetic which we have carried forward into some of our current architectural competition visuals.

Our next major initiative was a push into larger-scale animated work. We won the contract for both the Volvo Ocean Race and the GLUAS light rail proposal for Galway. These two projects, though crude by our current standards, paved the way for much more accomplished projects such as 2011’s Tipperary Venue project.

As our animation portfolio grew, we started sitting down with clients using the Design Thinking methodology to shape creative storyboards. At this point our core expertise grew from a purely 3D animation company into a more comprehensive digital production house with storyboarding and scripting as well as film and motion graphics now taking almost equal priority.

Finally, our location in Galway provided the impetus for our diversification into the medical device and manufacturing sectors.

ALL3D has been located in Central Dublin since 2011. We now provide digital media, design and creative support to some of Ireland’s biggest companies.
