BRIEF

Our brief was to create an animated video that demonstrated the adaptability and speed of assembly of the Smart Studio Inc. prefabricated studio system.

WORKFLOW

We met with Smart Studio Inc. at their manufacturing plant before pulling together a storyboard highlighting the key features and advantages of the product. We went through an iterative process refining and re-prioritising both how we wanted to allocate and sequence time within the video.

In parallel with the development of the storyboard, we worked with Andreas Heil of Innen Interior Design (Dublin) to model and refine the physical components of the Smart Studio system. Once the storyboard was complete, we were immediately ready to take these components and animate them.

We created a host space — a Victorian warehouse into which we could place our studio. We created transitions to blueprint graphics, which showed how the space could accommodate multiple studios. We then created a seamless animation illustrating the overall construction of the room including key product highlighting as well as interior design options to finish up.

Next, we integrated 3D titles into the animation — allowing us to create a much more dynamic treatment — and finally we added special effects and colour grading to brand the overall video and give it a strong look, ideal for sales presentations and trade shows.
